I take this opportunity to express my admiration to all those diligent and veracious officers of I-TECH, India who have meticulously put their hours to deliver and complete the course of ‘Leadership & Management in Public health’ from The University of Washington in a timely manner by adhering to all deadlines.
The course encouraged us to grow, stretching us to our limits, demanding a little extra during each assignment/homework. During each session, of course, an avalanche of information was provided to participants which helped us to build elementary concepts of leadership & management. Using the set of examples on leadership & management from diverse global settings and other various case scenarios helped us to fathom the exact role of a leader in an organization and do away from mediocrity.
Specifically, I enjoyed habit 4,5 and 6 which focused more on public victories and has unerringly taught us the approach to understanding the other person through ‘Emotional Bank Account’ which is now embedded in my everyday routine.
The course has not only ameliorated my skills but has also facilitated me to develop a personal vision statement that includes inspiring others through learning, unlearning, and relearning.

I enrolled in this online certificate course on LMIH, as I had the inclination to learn the skills to lead and manage the Public Health system I am working for. It proved to be a very helpful course to make me understand concepts and techniques related to critical functional areas of the healthcare ecosystem, formulate and implement an effective strategy in healthcare delivery systems and management. It also help me build my skills as a leader, based on an advanced understanding of relevant issues in healthcare management.
I found the course to be comprehensive and detailed; very relevant in my position as a public health official. I also found the presenters and facilitators to be valuable, both in terms of their amazing knowledge and their support and motivation throughout the course. It was a great learning experience.

Working in the hospital as an administrator/ In charge is quite challenging, I am working in a Non Government Organization (NGO) since last two decades, Its not so easy to run the functions of the hospital, We need to face lot of stress. I had an opportunity to join the UW courses on Leadership & Management in Health (LMIH) by I-TECH. Its really wonderful course easy to understand and easy to implement in the workplace which has given me the much knowledge about how to manage the work place within in the frame work of benefiting patients and the hospital and the entire staff.
Being working in the field of HIV/AIDS since 15yrs, I thought I have learnt lot about HIV medicine but its not so…HIV /AIDS is a constantly evolving science, we need to update our knowledge in treating People Living With HIV/AIDS. Then I got an opportunity to join the course on Clinical Management of HIV (CMH) by I TECH, a wonderful course which not only helped to understand and practice current guidelines and also provided a platform to have an interaction with so many experts in the filed of HIV/AIDS. I sincerely recommend this wonderful course. My sincere thanks to entire team of I TECH.

The course was a well designed/planned one and tried to cover all relevant topics wrt. Leadership and Management in Health. The course materials consisted of reading materials, videos, interviews of eminent figures who were proven leaders in their own fields – that made all learning units to be quite interesting to go through unlike other courses that usually tend to overburden/bore its students with too much of reading materials only. It was a self paced course which made it easy for any working professional to access it at his/her convenient time without compromising the duty hours. The weekly online classes (3-4 p.m.) were interactive and proved to be much helpful for the students to get clarified any of their queries on the units from the subject experts. The weekly quiz, discussion forum made the course even more lively and interesting to the participants. Also the able team of I-TECH, Delhi, India was ever ready and prompt enough to help out the students with any (course related or technical) issue at any point of time.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course and find it to be very much enriching, practical, helpful and highly recommended. I am grateful to both University of Washington, Dept. of Global Health and I-TECH, India to give me this great learning opportunity. I believe that this course was a lifetime experience for all the students – that not only enlightened them about different aspects of good leadership and management in health but also helped them to gain necessary insights that would further help them to be better version of themselves as managers/team leaders in their respective fields of work.
